California Reintroduces Bill to Exempt pre-1981 Vehicles from Emissions Inspection Re
IDK if this may have been posted already as I don't get much time to hang around here any more but this is important info to spread amongst the CA car groups. I wish it was 1985 and earlier, that would make more sense 
because they are now 30 years old. Maybe we can request they make an amendment 
California Reintroduces Bill to Exempt pre-1981 Vehicles from Emissions Inspection Requirement
Overview: Legislation (S.B. 1239) has been reintroduced in the California Senate by Senator Ted Gaines to exempt all motor vehicles prior to the 1981 model year from the emissions inspection requirement. Current law requires the lifetime testing of all 1976 and newer model-year vehicles. The bill will be considered in the Senate Transportation and Housing Committee.
Act now and contact lawmakers:
