California people....

OK, i purchased something from a guy in Cali. and he used newspaper and such as packaing. Included in there papers was a "Penny Saver" that had some REALLY great deals on rims and stereo equipmetn and what not. I ended up letting a friend look at it and he lost it, of course... Here in the midwest rims are WAY more expensive, 18"s alone are usualy over $1K and i am looking for some 20"-22" rims...
Anyways, i was wondering if any of you Cali. residents would happen to have some Penny Savers or something of the sorts laying around and if so would you be so cool as to mail me one or fifty... dont really care what type of paper or whatever it is, just looking for a great deal on some rims for my new Cadillac and i remember seeing 20"s and 22"s for like $500 +/-

If so please mail to:

Unless you're planning a long road trip in the near future, you might be able to save yourself the hassle. Shipping 4 17" rims with no tires from California to Texas cost me about $300 and that was in a normal box. 20's or 22's would be oversized.

Mine were brand new, so I had them shipped UPS insured, and they were in seperate boxes. They looked great when they got here though.

The wheel stores out here are not magic. Usually they are stretching the truth in there prices or the wheels are going to be crap. They put those ads in the pennysaver to bait you into there store so they can nickel and dime you to death. Same with the stereo stores in the pennysavers.

exactly..... to the O.P, penny savers are worthless unless your looking through the used things for sale throughout the magazine... but ALL the stereo adds and rim adds are all BS.... ive called these poeple out a few times on stuff they advertised.... everytime they said "oh, we sold out of those, BUT, we have these which are even better for a few hundred more!" its a scam! i would have no problem mailing you one if you really want one.. but they are all scams!

we have both the "pennysaver" and the "green sheets"..they are both free magazines
