Talking California FD w/FMIC or V-Mounts WANTED: $50 for anyone's help (Details Inside)!!!!

Hey Everyone,

Well us forum members need your help, in particular ANYONE with an FD w/FMIC or V-Mount Intercooler located in or around "Ontario, California."

Here's the situation for the past several months I've been in contact with Shinautoproject, a vendor on this forum regarding building a "custom FD vented hood." After the HUGE amount of interest generated they've agreed to take this "project" on. Here's a picture of the hood I've asked them to make:

The ONLY changes to this design will be to eliminate ALL the louvres from the original design and add in N1 style rear vents on each side of the back of the hood. Here's a link to the original thread that was started:

Anyways, here's the dilemma: Ken from Shineautoproject is interested in getting this project off the ground, but in order to do that he needs an FD w/either a FMIC or V-mount Intercooler setup. This hood will NOT work with Stock setups or SMIC setups so that's why I'm being particular about the FMIC or V-mount Intercooler FD's. I've tried contacting everyone that's expressed interest in this hood, but no luck. Either the people interested are living in different states, like me, or the ones Located in California are simply too far, 6 hours or further away.

Here's my proposal: Ken, basically needs an FD like the one I described to take measurements and use for test fitting, etc. I understand if you don't have anything invested in this "project" you might be indifferent to helping us out so we figured we could provide anyone that helps with an incentive. We'll Paypal over $50 to anyone who helps us out with this project. I really don't know what or even how long Ken will require to get all his measurements, etc. I do know that most likely it will require more than one visit to his shop located in Ontario, California. All these details can be sorted out either by me speaking with Ken or whomever agrees speaking to Ken directly.

For ANYONE that fits the criteria above and that is interested in this proposition PLEASE PM me directly and we'll figure things out from there.

Thanks for reading,

Rizwan

Here's the Full Address to their Shop:

Shine Auto Project, Inc.
1916 S. Lynx Place
Ontario, California 91761

I really don't know too much about different cities in California so I can't help you out in regards to distance. I would say just mapquest it and if it's a reasonable distance and you're willing to help, PLEASE just PM me. I'll try checking back here regularly, but it's much much easier to reach me via PM's.

Thanks,

Rizwan

All these questions have been answered in the thread. This hood is not only for V-mounts, but also FMIC's.

I live 5 minutes from Ontario, CA. My FD has a V-mount too. Guess I am the man you are looking for.
