That's funny. No, basically for better quality and lighting. I'm a Graphic Designer in the Industry and I need that crispy image quality on the images that I take. I work with Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign...etc., and I need that high-end quality on my work.
I know an 8 mgpxl is as good as a 10, but I have used the Sony 10 mega-pixel camera with the mini-disc inside as a memory card, and the work that I was able to produce with that camera was PICTURE-Perfect. But Billboards would be an accomplishment, to have some of my work there out in the HEAVENS-oops, graffitti term- former graffitti writer...from back in the day.

Oh I see....my son it's all about teh lens! Lighting is up to you or how you set up your composition. Don't get me wrong...Sony is an okay brand when it comes to cameras but there's a reason why Canon is the industry standard.

I'm not a pro or anything but there is so much to learn in the world of digital SLR. I always shoot in RAW so that I could correct imperfection via post-processing.

 

Will those lenses work or compatible with my 1985 K-Mart special 110 instamatic camera.

Post processing is usually done in photoshop....basically retouching photos.

Color corrections...same terminology, I guess...do you use Adobe Bridge with your RAW files?...I ask, 'coz I'm still learning that PROCESS (POST-that is)...but it is true about having to learn so much more about this DIGITAL AGE that we're in now. Shoot, scanning from a polaroid or still image was where I started...so much more to learn.
