Just wanted to leave a note of thanks to Chris for setting up the tune and to Steve for doing a great job of tuning.

I also wanted to send out a dose of good karma to Chris and his "magic phone". I was having boost controller problems which was a limiting factor in going for more power. I rolled my car off the dyno and Chris said, "I'll bet I could have a boost controller for you in 24 hours!" One phone call and Chris found a boost controller in 15 minutes. After a short drive we returned to Tech3 with a new Greddy Profec B Spec II in hand. Chris helped me install the controller and we were operational within 90 minutes of making the first phone call. After getting back on the dyno Steve was able to smooth out and turn up the boost.

Glad to hear the tuning went well. I hear you and Niles put down similar numbers. Should be an interesting season watching you two nose to tail.


I stopped in Sunday to live vicariously through the rest of the guys getting tuned. It was nice putting some faces to names.

 

Thanks for setting this up despite my car having no tuning potentional at the moment. ;p

Anyway, it was definitely nice to get out more towards the Bay Area and meet some fellow enthusiasts as well as locate a nice shop with good people...

 

damn i cant believe i missed this.... Im trying to find someone to tune my n/a s5 with an apexi safc neo. Do any of you know who i could talk to about this?
