are they out of spec?

i personally don't recommend lapping them unless they are out of spec and you have no other alternative.

well, i havent measured it, but i can catch my fingernail on several of the lines in the iron, that and i want to weld some of the water passages back into being usable and then get them lapped so i can use them. it seems a waste for a whole iron to be thrown away for a few little bits of metal being missing ( link here: https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-specific-1986-1992-17/engine-teardown-pics-471258/ ). my only alternative is to use them for porting practice but i wont need that for a long time.

as i and others said dont bother trying to repair them, yes it is a waste and i was reluctant to toss about 6 irons in the garbage last week but it is what needs to be done.
