i have a heat gun set and experience rolling fenders but wont have time until near the end of the month. wes you can borrow the heat gun. it's a nice set with attachments to help direct the heat for molding which is pretty nice for focusing th heat on the areas you need when rolling fenders.

FYI rolling fenders sucks *** lol. i havent tried rolling fenders on an FD but if they are double stitched like 240s it will be a PITA. if you guys do this on your own and it's your first time go really slow and have someone help you with the heat gun. You'll have to use the heat gun very often if you want to avoid cracked paint. If I were you guys I'd try and have touchup paint on hand for your cars in case there is a crack to stop it from spreading more.

Damn it. Why you gotta scare me dog? jk. Thanks for the tip. It sounds like we reallly need to keep it hot in order for us not to screw it up. I might be down for this Sunday. I will tell you by later tonight. I just have to make sure my car isn't tripping out any more. How's the weather looking for this weekend?
Thanks dudes!

haha yea i would even suggest having someone use the heat gun the entire time if you can. just make sure not to bubble the paint. it's also alot of physical labor too. youll definately get a good arm workout. if you need a heat gun for the weekend shoot me a PM

its not really about the money, just trying to help you guys out. $40 for us as a company is no profit at all. Sunday looks like its gonna be hot. We should just throw a last min bbq.

I think some people here are scaring you new guys about fender rolling. its not easy...but its not really hard either. Just take your time go easy and dont go crazy. My friend was rolling his fenders on his GS400 and pulled the fender 1.5" out. There was another FC guy i let him roll his fenders and messed up the fronts pretty bad cause he went crazy with the roller.

well they basically rent out the tools to you only cause they cant be liable for any damages done IE: paint cracking. But since I didn't know how to use the tool they were more than happy to take care of it for me but made sure they would not be held liable for any damages. I'm happy with the way it came out. One side the paint started cracking a little but thats because my fender had to be bent back in in the first place and it must have just weakened the paint. But the other side was just fine. I tipped them for their services since I couldnt pay them.

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but I have seen some guy or a shop on craigslist who rents out the eastwood roller and heat gun for 3 days for $40 bucks. I've just got my wheels and tires mounted and I'm so ready to put them on on car. However I cannot seem to find his ad on craigslist. Do you guys know his contact information? Just checking.... Thanks in advance.
