There will be a big drag race sunday, Jan 25, at the 1/8 mile Barona dragway. One of the other clubs I am in, Wickedstangs, is sponsoring it. There will be 6 time categories with 3 trophies each. $10 to get in, $30 more to race. Military wave the 10 dollar admission. Come down and enjoy some good racing and whoop up on some domestics!

 

So military gets in free and races for 20$ instead of 30$?

And yes it the barona people don't the difference between there face and there ***...all they see is the military logo and thats more than enough for them to give the discount...

Its all we got down here beside the Q and that sucks *** big time...So anytime barona is holding an event its sometimes worth it just to go and watch or race...

 

Same thing up here in LA. With LACR gone, we are forced to race at 1/8th strip at Irwindale or when Speedway has their specified dates. Even then, it's too crowded and you only get 3 runs.

 

Damn that sucks...There was talk about somebody or some big time shot buying back that property of LACR and re-opening the track, but i guess thats all here say...
