Meh, never liked them and starting out FWD only means spending more to get the most out of the car.

With that said: check this out

NOt bad for ~330hp but you can see where he understeers. I hate understeer. There is no worse feeling than that. I'd love to try to find out how it handles though.

Ahh, thats where we differ. I love under steer, and see it as an opportunity to improve the driver.

naw. Understeer is my worst enemy. there are benefits to the FWD platform but it doesn't fit my driving style.

Thinking of as Norcal 7 meet on the 15th or 22nd, so we don't have to drive to the southbay.

See the Nor cal chat thread in this section

and I stickied this thread for the BARC guys

That's good. I figured the North Bay guys might find it hard to come this far south. Maybe everyone (N and S) can get together in April in San Bruno. "The Shop" is having a BBQ on the 6th.

Thanks on the Sticky. It won't be be there permanently, right? Is it possible for whoever is hosting a meet to PM a mod and say: Swap out BARC 3 for BARC 4 or 5 or etc., etc. so the most current meet is at the top along with the BARC discussion thread?

Shoot us an Email so I can send you the map and details.

barotaryclub@gmail.com

We're meeting at Hakone just so we have a meeting spot for everyone to gather together. Do a tour of the garden if you all want to. Once we have the final group we head out and start the cruise. After the cruise we head to Japantown SJ for the BBQ. Then time to sleep.

cool, stickies every month there's a meet!

Meh, I was gonna ask you guys. I'm free all day. Depends on what you all want, all I ask is that the cruise starts by 4:30PM at the latest so we can be done before the sun comes down.

1PM sounds fine to me. If we don't hear from anyone else by tomorrow then 1PM will be the meeting time at Hakone.

well I'm thinking 4PM-5PM.

If you show up too early/we're late, you can always go into the shop "FarOutToys" and tell the owner you want to show him your FD. You'll have plenty to do in there.

So, I sent my email in...and got the map. I'm pretty sure I'll be there but I can't stick around too long, I'm leaving a room mate to do his clutch on his C5 Z06 by himself but at the same time I'd like to meet some more rotor heads out here...

I guess I'll show up around 1:30/2 at Hakone for the cruise and won't spend too much time at FarOutToys. See ya guys out there.
