Hi there.. I was just curious if anyone knew what happened to this RX-2? It was parked behind Autonomics (used to be Checkpoint) in Sacramento for several months. Anyhow, I swung by there today and talked to the guy who is moving in there.. he said it was towed off just this last Monday.

Anyone know where it went?

It had a full cage, fuel cell, gutted interior and front end, no engine or tranny, and misc. parts strewn about inside. I was trying to get a front bumper off them for the longest time, but they kept saying they had plans for the car. Guess that plan fell through.

city of sac impounded it. Right now I think Kip is planning on looking for it (guy who's moving in there now).

Hmm, must be a different guy than I talked to. The guy I talked with didn't seem to really care about it.. he just wanted it out of there. Any idea where the City of Sac impounds cars? Or will it sit somewhere and then eventually be auctioned off or something?

that was supposed to be my car the guy told me 200 dollars and it was mine. then i couldnt get ahold of him. sooo gay

 

anyone know where chris from checkpoint engineering went to? he has a turbo repu that he autocrossed successfully and i'd like some pointers.

Hmm, I am trying to track down that RX-2 but so far haven't had any luck.. when I talked to the guy he said it was free for the taking, but it sat there for like a month. Apparently there was some guy that said he was going to come get it but never showed -- who knows though, maybe that was the guy that towed it off. I'm just kicking myself for not going over there 1 week earlier.
