Arizona Front License Plate

Senate Bill 1028 introduced in the Arizona Senate would require front license plates on Arizona registered cars. Arizona has not required a front license plate since the late 80’s, and it has not caused problems. The law would require ADOT to issue two license plates when the registration is renewed. If you do not want this bill to pass, you can contact your legislators and the sponsors of the bill.
The sponsors are state senators Marilyn Jarrett, District 19 in Mesa, and Carolyn Allen, District 8 in Scottsdale.
Following is the link to finding who your legislators are:

This is the link to Senate Bill 1028 at the Arizona Legislative Information Service (ALIS).

The bill has been assigned to the Transportation and Appropriation committees. The Chairman of the Committee is Thayer Verschoor, and Jarrett is the Vice-Chair. You may also contact the chairman. E-mail addresses for legislators can be found on ALIS at:

Please pass this on to other people or clubs that may be interested.

good luck, with the way things are going now there is almost no way it won't pass. why? because it's all about money generation, with the automated street cameras and **** going in all over now and soon to come this is all about money for the state.

ubject: RE: SB1028 Requiring Two License Plates

Due to an overwhelming response from my constituents, business owners and the public in general, I requested last week that this bill be held. As the prime sponsor of this piece of ligislation which came about at the request of the Auto Theft Authority and law enforcement agencies, I have since decided to not continue with this bill. So it will go no further in the legislative process at this time.

Thank you for your input and for taking the time to address your concerns with me.

Sincerely,
Senator Marilyn Jarrett
Legislative District 19
