Thanks to Rotarx7 and zerox7. Putting the car together right now so that I can make the run. Hopefully I can finish it all tonight. If not Jaime has to give me a ride. I'll be the cameraman!

Finished off my airbox cover tonight... Looks pretty trick. I hope the lettering can take the heat, but there's only one way to find out. Still stripping paint off the bottom half.

Too bad the wife's got my good digital camera with her this weekend... I may have to resort to (gasp!) film. Or my crappy old 1.3mp.

 

not happening for me tomorrow. Wrong driveshaft. I got the one with the small flange on it. My SE has the large flange. I'll be there at the next one.

turbo's back on the car. started fine, unfortunately,
i have a coolant leak at the flange where the coolant line from the turbo meets the side of the intake manifold.
gonna get some RTV and seal it up... and i should be set.

debating if i should slap on my 4 piston calipers too... but i'm leaning on not doing it. a lil too soon though.

stupid coolant buzzer is being whack too. "ADD COOLANT".
then again, i started the motor on accident w/o coolant for a good couple of seconds.

 

its not bad to turn the car on w/o coolent as long as its not ran longer than reaching normal operating temp.. like when you do a full flush and run the system cleaner
