good lord teddy!!! you are under the impression that they are improving in the case the fd by swapping it with X motor but what occurs in fact is that you trash and effect the most quintessential part of the original equation of the 3rd gen rx. 50/50 weight balance, thus the car(fd) take on a new off balance driving characteristic. this is the only reason i am against a motor swap.

i don't know why 2cute is so against it but this is my rhyme and reason

lol hate to tell you but the ls is aprox 15lbs heavier than the 13b so your theory is slightly flawed. just playing devils advocate here.

i hate it and am so opposed because im a rx purist to a large degree

not @ all 2cute, take that 15lbs in your words and place it just inches from where the original placement of the 13b motor and multiply that **** by xxx numbers. not only is the gross weight (15lbs) a factor but the new placement of the new engine is different, the rotary is positioned much lower to the center of gravity........ just try walking up or down the stairs with a 15lbs weight and you will understand the difference
this is me schoolin schools.
and the beat goes on!!!!!!!!
