Anyone seen this before!

I just ran into this thing looking throught the net.

Is this for real. Does anyone anyone actually have one of these wankel powered RC engines in their RC cars??

Yes its for real but its for airplanes. If you look at the owners manual for that engine it actually shows a breakdown of the engine. Its kinda cool seeling a smale scale working version of a rotary engine. Actually as far as i know alot of the old airplane (real airplanes) engines were rotary.

i remember they put one of those on a monster truck, in a R/C Car Action magazine.

Most of the first airplanes had radial engines, not rotaries. Harley engines are very close to a 2 cylinder radial engine design.

porting it would be fucken crazy. It might work . I heard they have some type of peripheral port. WOW

My Neighbor has a Few Rotary powered R/C airplanes and he mentioned he used to own a R/C Car in the past, Custom made though

how fast do those planes go? ram air supercharger with a pop off valve to control boost

they actually made superchargers and turbos for nitro RC cars, ive seen it before.

Not Sure he did mention they are faster than piston powered planes > also they are hard to land soposedly cuz there hard to idle
