I'm a high school student and I am in dire need of help of installing my clutch in my car...


I am new to RX-7s, I don't have that many tools, I have a jack and stands...


Can anyone help me?

Well it's fine, I got the clutch in, it's just not aligned correctly so the tranny doesn't go in good enough (an inch away from it) :[

use the rocking method...tighten up all the bolts in a star pattern and it will close...

 

I hope you used a alignment tool when you put the clutch on or you might as well start over using one. If ya did, try jacking up the front of the motor a bit. It should fall in. If not pm me and I can see when i can get out that way.

 

he didn't have an alignment tool when he did the swap...I think he eye balled it to the best who could which put him where he is at right now...
