Anyone recommend an alarm installer?
Have a good friend that just bought a new Mini Cooper-s and I want to find her a good, reputable shop to install an alarm and not hack up the car. Can anyone point me to a good spot in the LA/Pasadena area?
Any recomendation on a particular model alarm?
The place she is buying it from had the factory alarm as a option for almost $900..seemed like a ripoff to me.

Click here for options You can add a tracking system with Clifford. Python would be cheaper. Now adays all the options are built in to the brain. When I did my Alpine Alarm >10yrs ago it was over $800 with dual zone radar, starter cut, fuel cut, tons of relays, air horns, etc. Now it should be $300-$600 depending on the alarm model and if she allready has pdl, etc.
