I live nearby... I may go there depending on which other colleges accept me (I'm a junior).

I go there to sell stuff to your professors or "advisor's" once every two weeks or so. Lots of Grad students buy things from me.

I live about 7 miles away

Too many asians imo. Too many kids with way nice cars. Lots of PD presence in the surrounding area. No cheap good food nearby. Too many senior citizens housing near a college campus. No cheap housing nearby.

I can agree with the asians everywhere part but I didn't see one hot one last time I went about a month ago.

In n Out is cheap and good. But there are way to many asians there. Plus you can count on the fascist Irvine company for rent unless you live on campus.

yeah i go there. majoring in civil engineering and minor in management. quite a few fd's around i'd say i see like 4 besides mine and about 5 fc's. yeah there are alot of asians but i would say "hot" ones unless you have the yellow plague and would hit a deer. no cheap places to eat except innout, no cheap housing unless you live in the ghetto (santa ana), and everything is closed by 9.

I live in Irvine, got a lot of friends that live near the campus and a few that still go there. Yeah, Irvine sucks... I grew up in Riverside so I'm used to the UCR scene. The thing I hate the most is that everything in Irvine pretty much closes between 9 and 10.

There are a ton of good, cheap food places, you just have to decide on what to eat, and hope that you aren't looking for food too late.

Tons of asains, I myself am filipino... too many damn asians, and you know how we drive! At least I'm not a minority, but damn... too many asians!

Cost of living sucks ***** out here too. My parents house in Moreno Valley cost about as much as my house did, but their home is 2.5 times bigger, and the property is about 5 times bigger. There are HUD homes near the campus, but the wait list is about 2 years. Your best bet would be to dorm, or rent an apartment, townhome, or house with roomates.

Are you the one driving the black FD with body kit and vented hood? (license plate #3RTTxxxx)?????

back to the original post...
UCI is a good school, nice and peaceful area...ranked the safest city in the US because the cops kick the homeless ppl out and only retired senior citizens live there anyway..

a lot of my friends go there and I visit UCI quite often.
Are girls hot? Not bad imo...but I'm Asian and I like Asian girls so I'm only speaking for myself...

oh yeah there are some pretty nice cars there

Nah, I wish I had an FD

I have a flat black 86 sport, and an 87 TII that no one sees.

hmm. i guess if it's a pretty safe area, i may have to rethink about selling my FD. i originally planned on going to LA, and end up having to get rid of the FD because you know how having a nice car parked out in the open school parking lot in LA isn't too great.

I was also thinking about it but I might just transfer here at SFSU. I used to live in southern california but am now up in the bay area. And I think I like it a little better up here but we will see. Plus I hate orange county and all that area. It was all about San Bernardino, Rialto, Fontana lol....crap town!
