anyone familiar with sac raceway?

I want to go to the drags on ethier the first of january or the 6th. But i cant find the rules or cost to get in on there website?..my car is an 87 gxl gutted with straight exshuast. can someone please tell me if im ok to run? whats the rules?

ok i found that its 15$ to get in the street legal fun drags but it says that your car must be fully muffled?i have a 3in cat back thats loud as hell! it says it must be less than 90 decibals at 50 feet at WOT. your car must pass saftey inspection, and you have to wear pants and a long sleeve shirt, and a helmet. what kind of helmet? like a motorcycle helmet?

i wanna break the 13's!!

I'm going this saturday hopefully to the TNT.

A motorcycle helmet is fine. Make sure the battery is securely held down and if it is relocated that it's in a nhra approved box and has a cut off switch. Your car should have safe brakes/suspension and not have any leaks.. that should be about it.

I've never been to the wednesday street night, but I think they don't want really loud cars there. If you go to the TNT they don't care about noise but it's a lot more expensive. For the race on the 1st they probably won't have any muffler requirements unless you are running in the street class (maybe).

Why don't you just put a muffler on your car?

Been there a couple times back in the day...a motorcycle helmet passed for me. As long as there are no cracks and is DOT Approved.

they are pretty leanient so long as the car is road worthy, as far as i remember only if you break into the 13's is a helmet required.

ok i usta run there like every week in my old honda it doesnt matter about the noise cuz theres mustang and maros that are deff loud and my crx had strait pipe they dont check.

you get there early cuz they only let so many cars in then pay $15 and they pop your hood check to make sure your batterys tied down and that your wearing pants.

anything about 14 sec. no xtra gear needed
under 14 sec you need a dot helmet
under 11 (i think) you need a cage

o and count me in if you go im in citrus hts.
