I'm just curious if anyone here lives in the Central Valley? I don't see many RX-7's around, especially FD's.

Maybe we can have some kind of meet set up at Famoso Raceway during a Test n Tune event.

 

I thought i lived in the central valley being modesto. ?..I drive an FD...dont know if that helps any.

 

I would like to try Famoso some time. I'm from San Luis Obispo.

 

Famoso is going to be closed for a few weeks. The consistent rain that poured throughout the month, according to the track, damaged the pavement on the track. They have to redo the track, so it should be even better when it opens up again. I will keep this post updated and let you guys know when we should set this up.

Are you the one with the white FD? I tried catching up to you like 2 weeks ago, but I kept getting caught behind red lights. Anyone else here in modesto with FD's?
Oh, and did the only race shop in modesto close down or move?

 

im from stockton...theres a few of us here...and i work on most of them

 

Nice to know, there are a few other FD's in the area. I swear, I have never seen any FD's in the valley and I've been here for over 10 years.

I have familiy in Modesto which I visit a lot, but i've got an FC, not an FD.

 

I Drive a Silver FD with a body kit and black rims. and sick *** exhaust...I live on the west side but am always inceres..I try to find the white FD but never can...U should organize a meet here or somethign soon. summer is not that far and the strip would be jammin...Burlington is where me and my buddies hand out..no street racing but just a hang spot. If you guys see me just honk i dont mind meeting any new &'s and especially if they are FD's....

 

Whats/where is Burlington? The coat factory?

Yeah burlington is the coat factory. The reason we chill there is cause its well lit up and it has a huge parking lot right off the cruising strip where people hella see our butes...lol...Im by modesto high area but im always in ceres and around basically.

 

What about a race shop, is there one in Modesto?

 

I'm in Tracy with '94 Montego Blue RX7. I have seen three other 3rd gens running around Tracy but could not catch them. Always going the opposite direction.
