Anybody in bay area know how to do automatic swap?
Well I'm thinking bout trying to get my seven tranny swapped. I don't got the space/knowledge to do such a thing, nor do I got the $$ to pay a shop.
If anybody has the space/time/kindness pm me or post here, also if you know of anyone in the bay parting out drivetrain leme know :o)
I'm in the santa cruz area. You'll profit from this, so help a fellow 7clubber out to get rid of this failomatic

first of all you need all the parts. have you gotten them?
- 5 speed trans
- 5 speed driveshaft
- clutch and brake pedals off a 5 speed car
- new clutch slave and master cylinders (may as well get them new, they are cheap)
- 5 speed flywheel, starter, clutch, pilot bearing in the e-shaft
- custom trans crossmember mount (really good DIY instructions on this at www.rotaryresurrection.com)
- rewire a couple of auto trans plugs so the car can start (or get a 5 speed car power harness)
- remove the EAT (auto trans control box)
