any track times from thunderhill track?
hey guys,
i was just wondering what some FD's (preferrably, but any other rx7's would be fine) have ran at that course (thunderhill) with no real suspenion mods, mild is ok though.

Mark, GNX7 is sub 2's, you know his mods. I believe a couple of rotary powered Fd's at one of the track day's I was at hit 2.30's with street tires. I'd be happy to get a 2.50
, but I'm a slow old man.
Totally depends on the driver. There are people out there with spec. Miatas and Hondas posting some very good times.
I'm putting my money into track days instead of mods, for me this investment will yeild much faster times than dumping $2,000 into coilovers/swaybars etc...
Good drivers can do amazing things with our cars in their stock form.

My last time out in November, I ran a low low 2:18 (almost had a 2:17). This is in my non-turbo FC with Toyo RA-1s. I still have plenty to go since a lot of the Improved Touring FCs are running approx. 2:10s.
