CA Any SoCal Shops That I Can take my RX7 to?

Heyo everyone,

I'm looking for a rotary specialty auto shop if anyone knows of any.
I live around the Irvine Orange County Area. Any Recommendations?

I've heard of Rotary, Racing and Reliability in Santa Ana and I dont know if Racing Beat is an auto shop but i heard about them too.

Thanks

RRR is good. They have worked on my FD a few times. Louie has always been honest and helpful.

He even stayed till 8pm one time to try and get my car running.

+1 on Lucky7. I've been to a couple rotary shops, and found Lucky7 is far above the rest.

yo,

Ive been to JPR, JRX, and both wasnt too happy with.. Finally when Iwent to Lucky7 , those were the guys Ive been seeking all along. They do legit work. Fris and all the guys there are honest and they will try to keep it at a low cost if your poor[like I]
But yeah best shop I ever went to is Lucky 7. Mazdatrix is awesome too, but very pricey. I usually just go there for engine parts.

Don't have an RX7 yet.

I've never personally been to Mazdatrix to get work done, because I don't have my 7 yet- but my buddy has had his FC worked on a few times and has been very happy with them. They are in Signal hill, and the shop itself seems pretty quiet as well as the employees, but they are all very nice and helpful. He complained about them being on the pricey side also- but said they were worth it.

Since you live in the OC, most of the above really is a lot of noise as you'll really want someone close in case you have to leave the car for any reason.

That said there is only one answer in my opinion (I've been driving RX7's as long as there has BEEN RX7's) and you already gave it.

Rotary Reliability and Racing.

To take to the extream and to be totally honest, if I were to have an engine rebuilt, that is the ONLY shop I'd have do it. And with Nelson now on their staff for dyno tuning couples with the fact they HAVE a Dyno on site, it's probably the most complete rotary service shop south of the 110 frwy.

One final comment, recognizing you're a newbie what with you only having 5 posts, is to advise you that this web site has a search function. The link is just below the rear wheel of the red car at the far top of this page. That search function is, in my opinion, the most valuable aspect of this web site. So use that tool first before you post questions. Trust me, there is a WEALTH of knowledge there and just about any question you can think of has already been asked and deeply discussed.

of course any shop you wont like if you dont have enough money, money motivates good work... Not every shop is willing to work if you say your low on funds and expect them to pull a miracle for cheap.

That's probably what happened with that guy at JRX. They got two 20B projects in the shop...I don't think those come CHEAP...

Right here the 20B FC is mines, & 20b rx3 is my buddys, I dont think that JRX is like that they go by a chart which customers come in on, no cutting in line, thats good cause jobs actually get done right
