any rotary gurus in sacramento?
hi everyone i don't have a fd rx7 but i'm currently looking at one but not sure at all how to inspect and see if its in good running order so i was wondering if there was anyone in Sacramento that i can pay to go look at the car with me? i really love these cars but know jack squat. although i can always learn. car has 95k original miles, does that mean it has to be rebuilt? someone told me the rotary engines have to be rebuilt every 60k miles.....
I seen rotarys with 200k on them. I rebuild mine at 120k on my drift car. If u got a compression tester u might be able to save.your money and do it yourself. Hes a site u can check out.this for compression check

it's starting to wear on me, not the local owners but the town itself. looking into other cities now since the kid will be 18 fairly soon, thinking maybe Tampa. i do somewhat miss california but there's no restrictions building cars down in florida and i miss the florida beaches more than the california ones.

Im in the elk grove area. Just picked me up an S5. I'd also like to know of any rotary mechanics that are local for some maintenance work and a full-checkup. I would also like to learn as well.
