Any really talented stock 1st-gen tuners in the house?

I'm going out of my mind, trying to nail down a weird little misfire problem on my '80. I'm not willing to chance a smog check until I get it cleared up, as you know what misfires do to the HC numbers.

I'm rapidly running out of possible causes (parts keep checking out fine) but the problem is still there.

There's a thread on it in the 1st gen section ( https://www.rx7club.com/1st-generation-specific-1979-1985-18/timing-jitter-misfire-809592/ ) but I can use any brainstorming that's available.

Anyone in the area a mastah tunah?
