I am in Sac once a month passing through to Eldarado hills.

 

I'm in el dorado hills too. So there is another fc up here, I've never seen it though lol.

 

I had meets going twice a month for awhile. Im a "former" rx7 guy.. i no longer have a 7.. for now.

But Im still down to chill, i have lots of rx7 hookups, and plenty of knowledge.

we had a good turnout at our sunsplash meet, right around 15 cars.

Sac meets are a good idea, theres A LOT of rx7s in sac, more than you think! the only problem is getting a good consistant meet! a lot of times people say "well there prolly wont be many 7's so im not gunna go", this is retarded... because like 10 people say this, and thats 10 less cars we have there.

My advice is if you wanna start a sac meet, **** YES! but, plan to stick it out for awhile, cause more than once, there will be less than 3 cars there.

But, if your like me... i love shootin the ****! so even if only 1 person is there, thats good enough for me!!

Hi Rob and Kraked! Haven't seen you guys on the boards in forever!
We are currently planning a NorCal 7's Christmas meet and there are some autocross events in the works as well. It's been busy especially with Sevenstock. There are a lot of Rx7s in the Sacramento area. I personally have an FC and an FD and my husband has an FB convertible. We are in the Rocklin/Roseville area. You should post a thread if you want to have a meet, otherwise, it will get lost in this thread. Just my .02 though.

Despite what you might think, there are a lot of RX's in the Sac area. As my wife(Rotorchick) said, there are 3 just at our house. I know of about 4 or 5 more in Citrus Heights, etc..... NorCal 7's usually holds a monthly meet in either the Sac area or out towards the Bay. We took a few months off due to everyone being busy, but the meets are about to start up again. So just make sure to watch out for threads about our meets. If you ever have any questions about your car then feel free to PM me and I'll be more than happy to help you out. Just don't believe everything that everyone on here tells you. And don't mind the SoCal belligerents. I'll be looking forward to meeting you at an upcoming NorCal 7 event.

there's only 8 at my shop right now(ok 6, if you take the REPUs off the list since they're not 7's), maybe you're looking in the wrong areas.. check the rotary shops and wrecking yards, you'll find lots of 7's at those places.

yeah that pop scared the bejebus outa me, lt1 is in, need a e-fan and to wirie it all up. this summer was a scorcher in my garage 110 everyday so way to hot to work.

We should think about a meet at "Legion of Honor" or a night meet at
"Treasure Island " in the bay.

Or maybe a photoshoot in the parking garage at sac state?

just some ideas. I don't mind driving to the bay.... good scenery.

 

What's "Legion of Honor?" I haven't ever heard of that one. And it's hard to organize a big outside meet during the winter months. I am planning at least 1 if not 2 meets before the NorCal 7 X-mas party this year. And the first spring meet will happen at Lagoon Valley park in '08. This year will be really good for NorCal 7's. Expect RotorFest III to be insane this coming year.

Also, I am going to be making a new batch of NorCal 7 shirts and hoodies. So if you want one keep an eye out for the thread.
