Evolution Driving School has a great reputation in the autocross community; the instructors have won national championships, and trained nationals-winning drivers as well. They're affiliated with Blackwatch Racing; check under the "Motorsports" section.

They require you to bring your own car, though.

If you're happy just reading, check out www.turnfast.com , they've got some great instructional articles.

The L.A. region autocrossers host a novice school, usually about once per year. I attended one a few years ago, and found it very helpful:

Look in the Calendar section.

damn Armen, how much $$$ do you have to throw around? Those classes where you don't use your own car are freaking pricey. Don't know of any around here, though.
