Take it from a local (i basically live on angeles crest highway). Angeles Crest Highway is way less dangerous in the day time. It's only worth going up if you go up far, and there are lots of rocks on the road from little earthquakes and rock slides.

Also, there was a hit and run just a couple of days ago and a motorcyclist was hurt pretty badly, so there are a lot more cops around.

guys i apologise for even making this thread...me anda a bunch of friends were R E A L L Y B O R E D and we wanted to go to the crest...they told me to post this so we could meet up with more crs there but yeah...i guess not huh....yeah at the time i didnt stop to think about the police i just wanted to have a good time you no..

cops have been crazy busy on crest this year. doesn't matter if you never post about going up there. you'll probably run into a cop regardless. now everyone stay off of MY highway. k. thx.
