I have an 88 rx-7 with a dead engine and also needs a new cat. I can't fix myself and can't afford to spend the money to fix. Any recommendations?

The car has been great and to the best of my knowledge everything else is working great. It has original convertible top with one 1-2 inch tear over a joint. Original paint job. Originally a car from back east, so some rust underneath, but I don't believe anything too bad.

Any recommendations?

what are you asking here? You don't have money to fix it and can't fix it yourself. Are you asking for help in fixing it or are you asking for recommendations on selling it? I guess the question is, are you going to keep the car or are you going to get rid of it?

 

Looking to get rid of it. I love the car, but this one is out of my league.

 

if you don't think you can sell it as is, you can part it out, then junk it. That's what I plan to do with mine. People will buy parts off you car. There are lots of parts vultures around here.
