Only thing I thought odd is they opened at 8 and had the cars line up in the parking lot. Then didn't have the cars line up and park in the event until after 10. People were missing out on demo racing on the big track as everyone sat in the parking lot. Had they had the cars for the show come earlier and ready to enter at 8 when it opened for the general public it would have been a better experience. Other then that for my first sevenstock it was awesome meeting so many other rotary enthusiast.

My car didn't break, so it was great for me.

It was dumb that they stopped letting non Mazdas in prior to the parade. People had to wait 45 mins to get in because they stopped traffic into the infield.

great event. Had a blast! Havnt been since Sevenstock 9. Decent turnout of cars...Seems less than SS9. But still really good! Vendors were great. And good choices for food!

And you cant beat seeing iconic Mazda racecars tearing up the track! Nothing sweeter than a 4-rotor popping off the rev limiter!

I had fun and got to meet a lot of new people and people i knew through instagram. The whole parking stuff in the beginning was a nightmare, but once we got in it was all good. The guy doing the raffle took waaay to long and talked a little too much haha but it was a great first sevenstock for me and I can't wait to be back next year and see all my new socal friends again!

glad I got to stop by... I arrived around 2:30-3pm and saw JTP in the green FC dip out and my girlfriend mentions "dudeeee I've seen that guy before... he used to lan it at my old work place (NETFRAGZ)"... if you see this JTP, u been there before? hehe

park and walk towards the screaming track and I see Fris rippin' it up with Lil' Red man it was nice seeing that guy still doing what he loves... I wouldnt have wanted to sell my old wheels to anyone else haha

was an awesome site for me considering I've been away from the rotary scene, and being there at the event reminded me why I fell in love with RX7s in the first place...

shame on me for being m.i.a. but any rotary gathering (especially with a race track) is an automatic

I hope I get my ish together for whenever 7stock is going to be at Laguna Seca!! LOL

Great experience, raffle was bad (not anouncer but I bought tickets and was told by raffle staff they would my prize if I won. I had to go onto track for my session and ended up giving away my tickets). Thanks to bern and all the guys. It was well organized and lots of fun.

On track my fd cooling setup seems to be perfect now
Water 87c max (sr motorsports rad plus ghetto ducting
Oil 190f max. Probe in the oil pan. R1 duals
Air. 47c max. Asp medium

I personally would not have missed the DJ with all the Fuc# and Ni##er noise.
Made it hard to have a causal conversation without yelling at times.

SS16 was great! I really appreciate that it was later in the year as sept/oct can make for a hot drive out from AZ. I liked the venue in terms of amenities (but why can no track ever have shade?), and I really liked the food trucks.

What I think was better last year is the way the track last year can be seen from anywhere in the show. Auto Club Speedway was nice but you just can't see much from the infield. I would have liked to be able to see the rotaries out there ripping it up without having to go up on seats above the pit lane.

This was my 13th Sevenstock, and as always, Bern and the crew do an incredible job. Participation and turnout this year was VERY strong. Hopefully Mazda was paying attention. Loved the food trucks. Just needed to be twice as many of them. Sad to see Volunteers waiting in line for food. They should get FREE chow and be moved to the FRONT of the line!! These people busted their butts to bring us another incredible event. Free food and no waiting is the least we could offer them as a form of respect and repayment!

Couldn't agree more on the VOLUME level of the music. Half of what they were blasting out would have been more than adequate. My favorite times of the day were when the 4 rotors were running on the track and the PA system was shut down. Made it painful to buy tee shirts or raffle tickets and be within 30 feet of the stage.

Other than that, enjoyed finally meeting Turbojeff and others that I've corresponded with for years. Props for continuing to bring us the event!!!

Thanks for all the input guys... there were a few first time venue and partner issues, but it got done. We apologize for the morning situation... we were coordinating with SpeedVentures staff and they seemed a bit overwhelmed and not so ready.

By the way... just in case, I am the guy on the mic for the raffle... we know it takes a bit, but just standing up there calling numbers for oil, can get extremely boring, so there needs to be a little life. If you'd like to volunteer to call a bit next year, just reach out to me.

Thanks Motoron, we agree with the music selection and volume... adjustments will be made for future events. I personally asked them to lower the volume a few times.

unamedhero1120, there was no "DEMO GROUP" racing until 12:00noon... so no one missed anything, just as FYI.

The unfortunate delay in the morning was also a matter of late vendor arrivals and set-ups inside, but we learned a few things, so all good for a future event.

NOW... here is the main issue where people could help... When we requested for SS volunteers this year, we got a WHOPPING ONE (1) that is ONE person! That guy turned out to be killer, but really guys ONE! We were short by about at least 10 people, yet we still pulled it off half decently. If you don't know SevenStock is a NOT FOR PROFIT purely volunteer proposal... for anyone working the event, including myself.

Next year, if you want to make a difference, the biggest thing one can do is VOLUNTEER!

I thought it was great... This was my first Sevenstock and definitely won't be my last!

I did not notice till after the event the final parking arrangements. I wished I would have seen that sooner because I parked my trailer and pitted my race car out in the North parking lot (used to NASA racing).... far away from the comraderie of fellow RX7 guys.

All in all this was really a great event. Any small issues were way outweighed by all the good ones!

Please keep the track event! I really like the track at Fontana.

Also someone mentioned not being able to see the race from where the cars were parked... if you move some of the event closer to the north parking lot (about 100 feet north of the garages), you get a full view of the 2nd fastest straight on the track!

An event like this make glad I live in Chino (about 15 minutes from the track), I feel sorry for my Buddies John and Keith who made the trek from Texas just to be there!... with that being said, they said they will be back again next year!

= ) New Venue, small problems, still pulled off an AMAZING EVENT! Adjustments will always be made if we have it next year...This event isn't funded by Elon Musk or Steve Ballmer.

We started months ago, worked on Friday into the night, got 4 hours of sleep, woke up at 4am, and drove 55 miles (some more) to pull this off...

VOLUNTEERS ARE ALWAYS WELCOMED, message me!

Reasons to Volunteer:
1. I'll let you park wherever you want! (within reason)
2. You will be in the lot at 6am.
3. We get you breakfast! ALL YOU CAN EAT, coffee and donuts.
4. We even give you a discount on the event TShirt!
5. Lunch is FREE99!
6. If you're friendly and have skills, you can work the Raffle too, while we grab a quick bite to eat.

-Andy

Taking names/phone #s for next year. Who wants to be #1?

just a glimpse, but we still haven't laid out cones in this lot yet... moRE work! The RE NATIONAL FLAG was just rolled out, and I wanted a quick pic.

For a guy that just showed up and took it all in, props to everyone. The event was at the same level it has always been. I have no complaints; if I did I would need to get my sorry *** involved and do some of the work myself. So great job. It was nice that you tied it in with a track event at such a great venue. Had a blast. The only negative was whinny California racers--"I couldn't get by on a point-by because his car was too powerful". Seriously?!! I honestly think I would be embarrassed to admit that. Man-up dude! Quit complaining or use the hot pits. See you at the next one all.

Nice try bro, but not a chance. Your sweet commentary is "music to my ears." I drive from Phoenix to Sevenstock each and every year to attend my SoCal Rotary Family Reunion. When it comes to the raffle, no one but BERN will do!!

Couldn't agree more! Bern on the mic is half of why I make the trek out almost every year. Thanks for the dedication and putting this on guys!

I think that the stage area was a little under used. Instead of a DJ only there could have been other things like q&a with the mazda reps, model show off/competition, maybe some of the venders or garages could have taken the mic a little. It might have broken up the day a little more if there were things going on at the stage at different times that I might have made my way over to the stage for a little bit then continue to wonder around.
