3rd Gen. Turbo Manifold Crack

Is there a shop out there that would weld or repair the cracks on a 3rd gen. Turbo Manifold...

If you are talking about the manifold and not the turbine housings, "smg944" was selling a good-condition manifold for $30....shoot him a PM.

oh I meant the turbine housing manifold on the turbos itself... You guys know that common crack and hair line crack all over the manifold...? Well that's what I meant..
I was just wandering if there are any shop that would weld it, or repair it...?

You can weld them up but they probably won't hold more than a few thousand miles. Hairline cracks are normal and no big deal -- you can see them on turbos with 10k or less miles on them.

What you don't want are large cracks through the pre-control bridge piece or cracks that go past the gasket area.

If you are really crazy, you can get new turbine housings for about $900 from here -- https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ghlight=%24900. IMO, you're better off just buying used sets for $200-400 a pop than spending that kind of cash on used twins. I mean you can get brand new 99s for $2400.
