How is this even possible. unless it died and coasted down hill for miles.

SO, the little old lady from Salem who owned it for the first 187k miles... did she strip the trim and primer-shoot the car, then let it rust thru the primer, & put in the street ported motor & straight exhaust 92K miles ago?
Or did Our Hero (who never registered the car in Cali since buying it, for obvious reasons (can't smog it)) do that during the 1,400 miles' worth of life (after the 600 mile trip from Salem down to the Bay) but unspecified amount of time he's had it for?
Pity... judging from the interior, it was an LS, and the engine bay sure looks remarkably original for a "rebuilt street ported" motor swap, right down to the stock plug wires. The LS badges no doubt went with the other trim.
Wonder if the lack of a battery has anything to do with his inability to start it without a push?

An even better question would be why the original old lady from Salem, OR street ported the engine during the rebuild.
I mean, my grandma likes a powerful car, but she sure wouldn't give the go-ahead to her mechanic grinding away at her motor with a dremel.

I have heard of it happening. If the secondaries on the nikki were stick I could imagine it getting 30ish on the highway. My FB does 22MPG on the highway with a 48IDA making 190whp..

Unless, of course, she was from Pasadena!
LOL I guess he's still on meth that he got in Washington. He sure has an awful lot of nothing to say...I mean a tank will get you 300 miles going downhill, failed math.

For sure, if it is streetported with a magnaflow and all, you don't think somebody may have swooped in on it for $500???? Seems like too complicated a story to be true, why would it be in Salem, OR but have WA plates? WTF

There is no way that is possible with a rotary, especially older ones.
