That time of the year to start planning and the meet up for the traditional norcal caravan down to SevenStock

As always, meet at the South Bound Westley Rest Stop Area (Exit 445 I5), just outside of Tracy first exit after the 5/580 merge, around 6:30am, leaving by 7am sharp Friday November 8th

All the typical stops on the way, we added a stop in Valencia to make the stop times even (around 1hr travel per stop) and allow those of us who with lots of mods that had to run hard over the grapevine to cool off and whatnot.

I'm trailering the 7... Taking the 101 then crossing over to i5 at Paso Robles. Earrrrrlyy Saturday morning.

 

We are probably takin the same route pullin out of Monterey

 

Leaving at like 3 or 4am... Just gonna make it a day trip.

Im heading down from Oregon. Ill be leaving Friday morning from Medford about 5am.

That should put me in Sac around 11 I think.

I am, as far as I know everyone else is as well, but there are a bunch of hotels in the direct area that are equally as nice, nicer, and few that might be cheaper. So if you are worried about cost and are staying at a cheaper spot, no worries, you wont be far from the main deal

We should be most of the way there by 11am, but, if you can bump your schedule a bit, the more the merrier

 

Definitely going to be good times this year!

Congrats! If the mazda 6 diesel was out when I was looking at getting a diesel for a daily I would have likely picked one of them up, love how the look interior and exterior

Instead I got the VW TDI (not a VW guy at all, for the record) and have been pleasantly surprised. Love it. Anyway, enjoy! hope to see you there!

Not this year. We will cruise at a reasonable speed that will not attract attention. Any tickets anyone may get will be their own fault, not out of need to keep up with the group

Oh and just so you guys know, my FD is not ready yet and my T2 Vert is still a work in progress. FD wont be done for another month or so, Vert...who knows, lol. With that said, I will try to bring my beater FC, worst case scenario I will have to bring my TDI, but, depending on how the FC runs this week, that will be the deciding factor
