CA 2 Reviews - HKS EVC-S & Force Electronics

Hey Guys,
Figured I'd let everyone know how awesome the HKS EVC-S boost controller is.
Its a straight forward install and the only thing that'd be confusing for anyone would be reading it in Kpa. (I switched it to PSI). Once you get the hang of how to use the controller after 5 minutes. Its super easy and can be adjusted on the fly as you drive. There is also a function that allows you to control boost response/how your turbos spool up and respond (which is great for anyone single turbo or non-seq)

Biggest feature important for us on the west coast with the cool weather.... is that it has an overboost/warning/drop boost function. To prevent any boost spikes/boost creep. And it is spot on. So if anyone is looking for a EBC..I highly recommend it!

After installing that, I figured it was time to step up and get a nice new alarm system and replace my car speakers. After hunting around for and looking between the Viper 5701 and 5901 alarms. The owner of Force Electronics in Santa Ana gave me an awesome deal on the 5701 with speakers with a 100% money back guarantee if there was any issues or any hassles. Lifetime. Now the install was long but totally worth it. Remote start function works and all features work. Everywhere else I went to they pushed the price up for need of door actuators, a manual bypass, etc etc. They included everything with my low price. (Now I was amazed after going to 6 different car audio places). It may not be in the "best" neighborhood for some, but there were alot of other nice cars there despite the location. And the owner runs his employees in a real tight manner and makes sure all customers are happy at his expense. He also owns a few other shops in the shopping center. It was awesome to deal with the owner only and not a bunch of sales people trying to get you to buy everything.

Anyway, I figured I'd let the other local 7's know whats up on that great boost controller and a great local car stereo place. I am seriously amazed to see people using those human business tactics and succeeding. It's rare to find today and this guy truly embodies human relations.

Cheers Guys!
(sorry if this is in the wrong section mods)

Legit. How long did it take you to install the EVC-S and where did you put the unit?

EVC-S took about an hour and 30 minutes. Which unit? the brain has everything in simple plug n play.. and can be hidden from the separate control unit. (I mounted it above my cig lighter)

Everything was simple plug n play, mounting,& vac line minus doing 2 wires for positive and ground.
