1988 13B-T into 1989 Chassis -- smog people gonna notice?

It's been a while since I've fooled around with FCs -- if I recall there was a minor change for 89+ that will be noticed at smog? Something like a PCV valve or something like that.. am I remembering right?

wow guys, thanks alot.............HAHA
alans right, most have NO clue what they are looking at. i would notice, but i know these cars well.
it is illegal to put any engine previous to that year in a more modern car. the other way around is fine though. if you wanted to put a brew in an fc, as long as everything was still there and the ecu was stock, that would be fine.
i dont recommend doing it. i dont see it being of benefit.

I doubt a tech will notice. They may wonder why your engine has an EGR valve but that is about it.

Drop by and say hello sometime I work on Sat and Sun.

Does it have to be approved by a state ref though?
