10 ae at fontana drags
10 ae at fontana drags
Yesterday my dad and I took the 10 ae down to the track and had a blast. My car ran very good except for some flooding(I'd rather have to much fuel than to little i guess), but we are working on fixing that right now.
all mods in sig-
1st pass- Didn't do a good enough burn out and spun the tire through 1st and 2nd- R/t- .395 1/8th- 11.03 1/4 -16.2 at 95.5
2nd pass- This time the car gripped so good that it bogged it down, then picked up again-R/T- .151 1/8th- 9.97 1/4- 15.11 at 96.3
3rd pass- On this run I got the perfect combination of grip and slipage- R/T- .334 1/8th-9.31 1/4-14.40 at 97.2 on this pass I broke out because I only dialed in a 14.90 and I beat my time, luckly the guy in the next lane red lighted so I was able to move on to the next round, One step closer to $690(They were doing bracket racing not street legals)
4th pass- This pass I dialed in a 14.40 so i wouldnt break out and lose- R/T- .122 1/8th- 10.53 1/4- 15.74 at 95.4 so I didn't break out but the guy in the next lane beat me because I ran so much slower than 14.40. he was dialed in at 12.02 and I was at 14.40 and my light was green 1.467 seconds before his so I could've had him if I puuled a 14.40. oh well
Win or lose I had a great time and got a time on my car. Im very happy with 14.40 for a lightly modded street car with a heavy *** sound system in the back
