Again to all the new ppl we are well known by the security guards and park rangers, they welcome our meet as long as we continue to group in a civilized manner.

We plan to leave by 10:00am so be there by 9:45am latest. 88GT (LC) will leave us all to get an early grub on. (too bad the food arrived late last year)

Also to avoid whatever light traffic there is at that time. 88GT (LC) will lead, he took us thur the SUPER Express route.

Hows this super express route go? The Zoo is about 20 minutes in the wrong direction for me, Ill try to catch you guys on the freeway if I can time it right

 

yeah how about a south/west LA route meet. I would like to pick up the trail too. Do you guys go straight down the 5 south? or? I will be leaving from Gardena ANYONE ELSE?!

Which ever way LC thinks is less traffic, last year we detoured to the like 710.

On the road by 10:15 AM??? That's optimistic. It wouldn't surprise me if the last 10 guys drive up at 10:05,

and each of them mumbles the same nonsense about needing to stop for gas,

and would the rest of the guys mind waiting while they tour Glendale in search of the cheapest gas station in So Cal,

and how far is the beach,

and did anyone bring a spare can of oil, cause their smokey pile of crap's "no oil in here" lamp just illuminated

and . . . . .


The moral of this story is show up and be ready to go.

 

I want to call early so I don't have to play catch up...... BTW People that are late are left behind IMO

 

I won't be at the park for the caravan but Bern will. I'm going ahead and meeting Jeff. Bunch of stuff to load but will be at the beach by 11.
