I've got both an FD and FC, I also have a couple of extra motors laying around for both. I can say without a doubt that the FD upper intake won't fit an FC lower intake manifold, the FD TB is also much bigger than an FC, won't fit either. The bolt pattern is smaller on the FC. I haven't taken a look to see if the FD lower will fit the FC lower though. Doing this swap would require a custom fuel rail set-up.

You use the FD upper intake & TB.. You have to port match the lower intake & round out the to middle holes un the uper intake.. Do a search this was disscussed about 2 weeks ago..

I started that thread!. I dont think i will be doing that mod though. I heard you have to do alot of things to make it fit and the set-up alone cost alot. If you want the set you can get it from this dude in japan name Jessie. You will find him selling 3rd gen stuff at the www.thepartstrader.com he wants 375 for all 3 parts. good luck. You can look for my thread if you hate waiting for replies.

all you have to do is make a adapter plate for the manifold or bore out yuor stock FC lower intake to match and redrill the bolt holes, good for about 30 hp! and the 400+hp should read 500hp+
oh yeah i am not sure if the stock fc computer will run the FD tps i did not have this problem since i am running a aftermarket ems that is something you need ot check on

Soul Assassin...
The EMS won't be a problem replacing that with the Wolf 4D, whenever the decide to release it...
Do you have any good pics of adapter plate???
Did you just "gasket match" the lower intake??
