Correct me if I'm wrong but you engage the 0-400 mode with a lift and twist on a lever piece integrated into the shifter. Once in this mode you can force down and up to shift 1->2->3->4 but this locks you out of any other gear choice during this time. You can then disengage the 0-400 mode and have a regular short shifter again. This is basically setup for drag racing hence the name, 0-400 (meters).

Yes, this is what I also stated in this thread earlier.
The vendor said that it can be used in circuit mode too with downshifts.
I am thinking "circuit mode" is just when it is functioning as a normal short shifter with the collar up and "0-400 mode" is when it is 1-4 upshift rowing straight up and down with the collar down.
Looking for the new owners to tell us exactly about this product.

You got it pretty much. In circuit mode, collar assembly locked up, its a normal shifter. In 0-400, its still a H pattern shifter, but the gates (as seen at the base on hairball's picture) make it so you can't miss shift basically.
1. You engage first gear, and rotate the collar so it drops down (its spring loaded)
2. When you shift to second the assembly drops down a little following the gates.
3. When you shift to third the gates guide you into third. You can't go back to first, and you can't accidentally hit 5th period.
4. When shifting to fourth the gates prevent it from going to 2nd or reverse.
While still in 0-400 mode and you are in fourth, you can only shift to 3rd or 4th. You have to raise and lock the collar in place in order to access the other gears(circuit mode).
The collar is spring loaded, but its easy to lift and rotate to lock it into place with one hand. So switching between the two "modes" is very easy.
Even though its H pattern still, the gates make it so its just a push upwards to get third.
One thing though, its not a short shifter. Its physically shorter by about an inch compared to my old mazdaspeed shift **** assembly, but the throw is the same. It feels substantial, and the engagement is very precise though. I haven't experienced any vibration or noise so far with mine in the 40 miles driven so far lol.

OK, sounds like everyone received their shifters.
Again thank you very much for your patience and the others for help!
Stillway has 10+ new shifters left so if anybody wants it, let me know.

I paid for my shifter on May 27th and got payment confirmation on June 2nd. I haven't heard from Shin since. I have emailed and PM'd several times with no response.
I was told in my payment confirmation:
"Aaron,
Payment confirmed.
Should be able to ship it out within this week.
I'll keep you posted.
Best regards,
Shin. "
I probably should have taken note from the previous few transactions but I figured since they got their shifters, I would get mine as well.
I have emailed and PM'd Shin to let him know that I will be filing a Paypal dispute shortly.

Just spoke with R-magic Japan. Shin aka R MAGIC USA you should be expecting a call from the real R-magic.
Copeland: The real R-magic said they do have the shifter in stock but have not received any orders from Shin for one. They also informed me that Shin does buy and sell products from them periodically but is not an employee of R-magic.

Shin has assured me that it will ship out Monday. I'll let you know once I have confirmation on shipment and once I have received the shifter.

Never received a tracking number and haven't received any further communication from Shin aka R Magic USA since 6/26/14.
Thankfully Paypal decided on my claim this week due to no communication from Shin and the 45 day limit to file. After my experience, I do not recommend anyone purchase a product through R Magic USA aka Shin.

OK GUYS.
DO NOT SEND ANY MORE FUNDS TO THIS VENDOR.
HIS SELLING PRIVEDGES ARE SUSPENDED UNTIL HE COMPLETES ALL DEALS.
****IF Anyone sends this guy Funds for parts..YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.****
(This thread will remain open so Members and vendor can communicate freely.)

Circuit theory... Is that you "Circuit Soul"? aka Alex the Canadian or someone associated with him?
If so, I believe you owe myself and 7Tune a public apology right here, right now. This crap is still continuing.
But perhaps on the 1% off chance I'm wrong about who you are, I withdraw my statements and offer you an apology in advance.
G'day from Japan.
