Oh Rock Auto. Your catalog was wrong and I ordered parts that did not fit at least three times. Have you tried returning items to your self. There is no consumer friendly way to return things. Funny thing is it cost myself almost twice as what you paid for shipping . Lucky for me the bits were cheap and after paying shipping I would lose even more money. Customer service is abysmal. My god, you have parts listed for the rx7 that have no place being listed. I tried reaching out. These errors were not on me, yet unwilling to do what is right you played your hand. So I will be educating my fellow rotor heads so they may be more informed than I was.

I have no idea why RockAuto is sponsoring this forum, other than IB lords it to be so.

Rock Auto is the definition of buyer beware.

Curious as to where you are having your issues? I've been using RockAuto for years for my FC and my FD, and I've yet to run into any major issues.

The only issues I had was a clutch alignment tool that didn't fit (which they told me to just keep and refunded me because of shipping fees costing more than it was worth), and an airtex fuel pump/assembly for my RX-8 that looked like it was a S1/S2 hybrid design that didnt' fit, but that's not their issue, that was an airtex manufacturing problem.

I will be honest, though, email based support is kind of annoying, I'd like to see a chat based method at the least.

Speaking of..

The last 3 times I have ordered stuff the parts were loose in the box. Example: (2000 toyota corolla) I ordered a valve cover gasket, air filter, fuel pump, thermostat and spark plugs. Minimal safety packaging on the inside and everything was thrown in the box. The sparkplugs were not in a box of 4, they were separate boxes and one found its way out of the box and was floating around in the bigger box. Your 3rd party shipping company is horrible, especially for the premium you charge. I was doing pm's on the toyota and replaced the thermostat, car went hot and the upper hose was hot and the lower hose was cold - thermostat DOA !!!!!. put the old one back in and it worked fine. Then the coolant temp sensor in the head was wrong too, car still spiked high on temp and the fans did not turn on. I swapped the old temp sensor back in and the temp gauge was fine and the fans kick on like they are supposed to. So did you mix up the years on your catalog / pull down menu.

You really need to work on your shipping and HANDLING !!!!!!!!!

Boxes arrive with suspension arms and the ball joints sticking out of the box with a ripping bag and the cotter-pin nut missing.

Its frustrating, and normally I would not say anything about a company but you better get it together if you want to advertise here on the RX7club.

Here, word of mouth is everything.

I have looked at your parts for the 3rd gen and some other cars and after tax and shipping, your more expensive - with my shipping experience from you guys there is no way I will order anything for the FD.

As far as my 2008 Mazda5 minivan goes, all the parts have been great except for parts sticking out of boxes on arrival. 286k and still going.
