I already have your carbon fibre center console and your carbon fibre guage holder here in the uk and i was more than impressed..

I also bought the air vent covers but it seems I've either lost them, or they were stolen along with my spoiler and turbo a few months ago

My request and question is this...

As you can see in the pic I've removed the main clocks/dash surround... i want to ge a flat panel made to match the center console (and soon to be gearstick surround btw)...

My reasoning being i can get an oversized rev counter seated flush into it, along with a fuel guage and speedo. As my standard closk dont work except for speedo and fuel and i cant fit my oversized aftermarket rev jobbie in there with the default surround in place.

would anyone else be interested??

if not.. how much to get the made made up as a one off as it will be going in a very high profile uk drift car.

just so we are on the same page, you want to make a piece (the one thats missing from your dash) that can house aftermarket gauges?
sounds like a good idea for people who want to use aftermarket gauges, i wonder if LHD would be the same...
Paulo.

thats correct.

Ive outlined it in red.. effectively i would attch it (somehow) over the slightly raised border where the old dashtrim (the plastic bit that had stalks on them) was. I'm very keen to get this as, once the dash is flocked, combined with the gear surround and the air vent covers if i ever find them.. will make my dash 100000% neater and get closer to the professional finish i want.

As far as im aware, the dimensions are no different for LHD/RHD. so in theory makes getting the mould a damn site easier too.

the spare surround would work as a base for the outline etc...

but as far as the 'face' goes.. i guess theres many ways to play it. You could (as i was thinking) just flatten it off so its same as the center console.. which would be perfect for me. But i guess you could also mould the entire thing wiht stalks etc.. but i guess that would be a fek load more in materials/costs.. Plus im not sure it would suit.. but will be intersting to see what you come up with.

as a repeat buyer and conceptualiser as well as uk promoter i believe i qualify for a discount too!

Just as a friendly piece of info, I have both the RHD and LHD gauge cluster surround parts...

The LHD will NOT fit on the RHD dash (tried that... had to go find a RHD one)... I would post up some pics but I am out of town... (maybe if I remember when i get back i will)...

So you would not be able to make the two parts interchangable imo...

thanks for the heads up, do you know why it wont fit?
since the CF piece wont fit exactly like OEM maybe we can make them interchange.
Thanks, Paulo.

The shape of the dash opening is actually different if I remember correctly. It does not look like it is, but my LHD part would definately NOT fit on the RHD dash...

I will be back in town tomorrow and will try to take a few pics to show the difference in the two parts...
