The hall signal can be anything depending on sensor and input. Ours should normally be powered by 5,8 or 12v supply (thats the norm for ECU's) but can do anything from 4.75 to 24V.

For the PS1000 we use the renesis wheel. It's 36 teeth is preprogrammed in the PS series and works wonderfully. I'm not sure what you mean about your tuner running tests?
gotcha

I think he figured it out i'm still on firmware 1.03 would need to upgrade to 1.08 to use an rx8 trigger type correct?

Deposit sent for FD kit. What additional options do I need if I'm running a stock pulley? Do I have to buy a Renesis wheel separately? Or is all I need to run it with a PS1000 the base kit?

Thanks!

After doing some more reading I'd like to get mine with the hall sensor option. Haltech does in fact recommend it if it's an option, and my harness isn't constructed yet so it seems like a good idea.

No pics of the Hall effect setup yet. We redesigned a couple pieces from the FC Hall kit, and are waiting for them to finish at waterjet(should be today) to get everything anodized. Looks almost identical to reluctor pickup.

The REW kits are $165 for standard OEM reluctor sensor or an additional $40 for Hall setup.

We DO have 20B kits. They use the FC style setup (with a different wheel). Please click the link in our sig for more details or PM us.

Thanks for the praise teddy, hope your FC setup is working great!
