this is no offense to Flaco or the selling his products but a comment about this comment, the parts appear to be knockoffs and not original Aeromotive parts.

the anodizing is thin and watery, no label where there should be one on the FPR, fuel pump case is not a deep black color but flipped to the opposite side of where the label would be so can't be 100% sure on the pump. the FPR mount bracket is also not the same as the ones supplied with true Aeromotive A-1000 regulators.

if they were genuine i would state that if it were me. so if you're expecting name brands you may be disappointed. some of the chinese copies can be quite convincing, but i've had my hands on way too many to know better. not saying they may not work, but maybe not as well or for as long as true name brands. the only parts that really don't matter are the AN fittings, even name brand AN fittings always break, so these would likely be a negligible difference.

sorry for drawing this out here.

Now that you said that, I looked more closely. Your right. I retract my statement. **** that. That's shitty business not saying that they are knockoffs.

Selling knock off got me thinking, is rotary werks an undercover rotary works?

no, Flaco is a good guy but things should be disclosed so as to prevent misunderstandings. he may not even realize they are knockoffs.

flaco does let you know they are knock offs, I have personally been to his shop and have seen these in person and the first words were that they are not the real thing. I don't think he was intentionally misleading and so far has been a very decent, honest person to deal with.

Not trying to bag on flaco, but that wasn't in the ad. I'd just hate to see some one buy something, and get a surprise when it arrives.

But then you don't see any markings on the product. Common sense

Some people can't afford the real thing so this is an option

i only brought it up due to the comment and likely others seeing it and assuming it was an Aeromotive since it is a knockoff of one. the A1000(not a copy of) is about $130 new and stealth 340 is about $140 new, name brand fittings would be about $100 for the lot. i know i looked at it for a minute but knew something was off, we're all always looking for deals. it's just a grey area since they are marketed for people who think they are the real thing, they were never claimed to be Aeromotive products, just best to clarify up front.
