FC and FD stainless dual sheath oil metering pump lines
after being commissioned to have some oil metering pump lines made for an FC i located all the materials required to fabricate the lines. these oil metering lines are triple layered: inner liner, stainless steel wrapped and poly coated for additional thermal barrier. the material is of high quality(pricey too i might add) and production dated 7/2011 so the materials have not been sitting on the shelf for who knows how long... the line is also DOT approved for hydraulic purposes and was recommended to me from the hydraulic shop that i got the materials from.
being that i have spare motors i am going to make lines for S4/5 turbo/non turbo and the FD models.
sorry for the hastily taken picture..
pricing for the lines for FC3S will be $102 shipped within the US and for the FD3S will be $78 shipped within the US.
please contact me when you purchase a set so that i can check the order and ship them out ASAP.
payment can be made to my paypal account at: ktm0012@sbcglobal.net
please be sure your shipping information is correct or send me a note with the payment if it needs to go somewhere else.

bought all the hose that the shop had in stock today so i will be able to handle about half a dozen more orders as i already have the lines sold for the amount of materials i initially bought. they will restock in about a week, so i can make more then if necessary.

Definitely interested. I'll hit you up in the Summer for a set. That's a great price too-I think Nick paid $100+ for the ones on his FC and they don't have the outter layer.

yes but i'm trying to finish up Nicks car while taking care of getting the local customers as well so that i can deliver it soon. i will probably have to setup the dyno tune for a few weeks after so that i can setup the thread, get the dyno booked, set the dates and collect the deposits ahead of time.

here is a non turbo set fitted to my temporary test fixture:
all OMP lines are measured to fit a factory setup as best as possible and crimped at the correct angles, in the correct metering locations. zip ties are just to hold them in place, the factory clamps should fit with a little bit of tweaking as the lines are a bit thicker than the OEM lines. the lines pictured originally are for a FC3S turbo II setup. FD lines will be next up and will be the easiest as there is only 2.

and as a side note, whenever you replace the oil metering lines you should premix fully for at least 1 full tank of gas, preferrably 2. this even applies to OEM lines as it takes a fair bit of time to fill the lines with oil from the pump, priming them is no easy task so premixing is suggested. the inner diameter of these lines is identical to the OEM ones so priming them will take about the same amount of time, usually about 2-3 weeks of daily driving relatively short distances.

just let me know, not sure how long the current amount of line i have will last so i will call the shop and see when they expect the next shipment of line. for fittings i probably have enough for about 15 sets or so, beyond that i will have to try and locate more.

thanks, my aim was to make them more durable than OEM and cheaper. was a little tough with the FD lines due to the cost of the hose and the lengthy lines, believe it or not those 2 are over 4 feet long combined.

and last but not least, FC turbo II fitment:
the last paid for order will be shipped out within the hour. anyone else who wants a set made i have enough for possibly 2 more sets(well technically 3, this turbo II set pictured is not spoken for yet) before i have to wait for them to restock the line which will likely be about a week.

i had thought about making them for the first gens as well but figuring out a way to adapt them to the carb without stressing the fittings might be a challenge. there really is no way of pre-forming them but that also adds a bit of durability as well. some form of metal "L" fitting would have to be used but finding fittings this small is a challenge.
