Was really hoping to get an update as fast as we were told it was going to be delayed jks

A friendly update would be nice seeing it's two days past the actual shipping date. Will we get them till next week or early August?
Heading back to Japan and the Caribbean soon and want to see them before I go back.

Not wanting to sound like a pest here but originally the lights were to be shipped July 7th, but then the sequential system had to be added so it got pushed to July 15th.

Now, its mid-late August?

I'm positive I am not the only one here puzzled as to what is going on.
What is the real cause for taking so long? If I knew that it was going to take so long, I would've waited till after you had them physically in stock to buy them

All 100 sets have to add sequential lights, so takes awhile. Factory only allow do all at once.

I work in production and a month is like a lifetime for a 100 lights. The 7th to the 15th is a much more reasonable amount of time mostly because of shipping. Something had to have happened for it to take a month and why don't we have an exact date? We had dates before why only an estimate now?

Without knowing the true situation of these, I would just like to add that Depo makes huge range of automotive lights (both oem replacement and styling), they may have somesort of schedule on other lights they do. So if there is a change in the recipe (like ours apparently did), for example sequential turn signal, they might have dropped us out of the scheduled window and put us in the next available. And that might be some weeks in the future easily.

As said, I don't know the facts and I'm in the same boat as all of us who has paid for these. Group buys usually tend to stretch and flex time wise, so I'm not giving up on my hopes on getting these bad *** led tails on my car. Hopefully sooner than later.

Mici, you are right. But for us no worries. I'm very close friend of DEPo. I don't need to get in line.

Thats good then.

Hmm... When are we going to see something similar for the front lights? Maybe some Lamborghini style, with single projector and LTI stripes (like new Audi's have)..?

Seriously? There is just a lot of Lamborghini-ish on the design on the led tails so my mind started to act up.

As much as I'd like to believe in our incredibly bad luck there are some warning bells ringing in my head. However, I do want the lights so I'm silencing the bells.

Then again, I hope you all realize that the money sent is pretty much gone if the lights are not coming. There is a time limit when PayPal doesn't help anymore. I sure hope the delay is not for that reason.

But as said before we just might have the worst luck ever. We can only hope that the lights are coming and the factory was not damaged.
