Hi Simron, we just took the oem ones and joined them, we also added a tape line along the edge, so it would mount similar to OEM but with the additional contact edge to lay tape.

First sets are en route to the customers, we should be getting some fitting pics soon.

still waiting for it to get back from paint. intial fitment was spot on. hoping to mount them this wknd.

 

finally got these back from paint on Friday.

install was pretty strait fwd.
- test fit after paint and pre drill mounting points on the sides
- clean the part where the 3m double sided tape adhere to. I used alchol and cleaned the side skirt and the car.
- applied double sided tape
- slowly and carefully put them on the car starting with the front

I like how there is an indention for the tape.

I know these pics aren't ideal but know that fitment is good. I plan on getting some better pics in the future.

 

Not to bump a terribly old thread, but I wanted to offer my counter experience. I ordered a set from duraflex body kits from ebay. They are the same vendor as Carbonfiberhoods.com. The skirts I received were about 1 inch too short. Attached is the youtube link.


I just filed to return them after exchanging ebay messages for about 1 month. I figured I wanted to warn anyone who was looking to buying these, just either expect to do some modifications to make them longer or look elsewhere. It's a bummer as I was really looking to forward to these especially since OEM 99 spec skirts are made out of a weird solid foam.

 

Well they were very good about communication and they actually refunded my order. They are aware now that this batch is short. Hopefully the next batches will be longer and fit cars. I would do business with them again and try their other products.

 

Those look really cool. Can't wait to get some.

 

I just received a set and per the paint shop they are about 1/2 an inch too short on both sides. I just emailed the seller (overbooststore) on ebay. Hopefully they can resolve quickly as this has been a dead halt to the project.
