What REALLY short high flow converters look like

I'm selling my car, and the buyer requested catalytic converters be installed first. Since the 3" exhaust takes up quite a bit of space, they had to be shortened and tucked in there pretty good. Converters are stainless 3" Dynatechs, roughly $139 each.

Damn, those are small. I wonder how well they work.

Are you going to be upgrading the C6? Or are you selling just to get rid of a project you don't work on any more?

They started out being 11" overall, but half of it was just pipe so it was removed to make fitment easier. I didn't notice a decrease in idle quality but I all I did was load it back up on the trailer, so I don't know if it affects power or not. My guess is not enough to notice.

Basically I'm tired of not having it done, and everything it really needs is time consuming, like window trim pieces, missing clips holding the door panels, serious scrubbing of the carpet, stuff like that. I never did have that kind of patience - I just like to drive nice cars, I don't like to make them nice when they start out less so lol.

Really I was just depressed about having a quick car that I can't really compete with. The Corvette is much nicer overall, and I can always make it faster, which is the only advantage the RX7 has over it.

I'm likely going to build a Mustang next, either for the NMRA Pure Street class, or possibly go roadracing in the American Iron class of the NASA series. A near-stock LS1 in an RX7 is not competitive in any class is qualifies for in either type of event. I don't want to run brackets, that's boring and nobody gets magazine coverage for winning a trophy every Saturday.
