What exhaust to use?

Hey guys. I'm getting my fc ready for the ls1(6) that's going in it. Right now the car still has the rotary in it but no exhaust. Before I do the conversion I want to get the car running and get it tagged and everything. Which exhaust system should I get so I'll be ready when the time comes to do the conversion?

are you asking if you can buy an exhaust that fits a rotary, then later put it on a V-8? you have to make a custom exhaust for the v-8.

I'm runing an Apex GT-Spec with a custom Y pipe. Sounds great. Very mellow until you get on it.

The V8 is going to need a custom exhaust, so your best bet would be to get a stock exhaust system from your local junk yard. Then passing inspection and getting tags shouldn't be a problem. Then you can just scrap the system and go custom.

I finally watched the vid of you on the gap. That exhaust does sound pretty damn nice. By the way...awesome driving.
