I finally have gotten to the point that I do not want have to smell like **** when using the car.Deaf from the loud weed wacker all the time. I just got old. While its still warms my heart aluminum block and piston technology has caught up. So to the dismay of my friend ITO I put my baby on 2006 6.0L diet with a turbo.
You know.... to get in the car with pump gas, have 500 hp on tap while getting 21 MPG and not smelling like the leaf blower, all the while having a conversation.I dont need to do split timing any more and ghost mapping or worry about the corner seals. I dont have to have that drum of C16 to boost it to get the same HP.
So I put a little C gas in and turn up the boost to oooo 700 HP?
Anyway I want that Supervette performance and gas milage in my 2750lbs R1.
As of now the goods have been received and most installed. The full Hinson Single urbo motor set up.Exedy clutch. The latest Tremac 6 speed. Lunati forged internals , Diamond pistons ( lower compression ), the Comp turbo cam and rockers/lifter guides etc.
I decided as of now not to port the heads. The car should drive like a showroom GTO with lump and a little blow. If it isnt enough..then I can add the Texes Speed heads.
