V8 rx7 auto-x Class

So I'm curious about this little kink .

I know many people auto-x V8 Rx7's and my friend wiht a V8 Rx-7 is going to come to an event with us this weekend , but we have no idea what class he goes into .

SSM which rules state the motor must be from the same car brand .. and.. well we know thats not exactly valid with LS1 swaps .

so I'm curious where would he fit in ? this is a local not even an SCCA club event so I'm not worried about him not being let to run . But they do follow SCCA guide lines . so I'm curious as to what you guys run in ?

EM is above XP, so the question is... what would kick him out of XP? (not much)

street modified and modified are totally different.

Generally speaking, the heirarchy goes:

Stock
Street Touring
Street Prepared
Street Modified
Prepared
Modified

I was put into EM when I ran. I started in SSM but they moved me to EM since I had a non Mazda motor in the car.

I ran SCCA events last year and had to run OSPO class. I had an 93 FD with an LS2 in it.
