Yeah, you can buy special mounts and put a smallblock 350 in it.

Look in the other engine conversions forum here or try http://www.torquecentral.com/ for more info.

To answer your question, you can put in just about anything. LT1, LS1, other 350, 4.3 V6, 3.8 V6, 5.0 Ford, 1JZ poopra, etc.

People on this forum get pissy when you talk about dumping their beloved rotory.

Granny Speed Shop offers complete kits to do this.

and yah, people get pissy.. they come into this section of the forum just to start stuff, eventhought they know thats what it is here for.

thats why I'm putting a turbo 4cyl in my rx7.. that'll **** off few people.

Yeah, some people get upset. I dont see why. Becuase its cool to see someone do something unique, and that gets more rotary engines out of cars that would otherwise be in the junkyards. So im all for it! The only swaps i would like to do would be a 4g63 or a high powered inline 6 like a 1jz, 2jz or rb25/26.

Don't do it....

V8's screw up your handling (please see my sig) and they will only make you smile ear to ear everytime you get in the car to drive it.

"cosmo motor with a t70 turbo"- bucks to build, lots to tune as there are only a few people in the country that do it right, and then with high boost they don't last long...... just ask any of the high HP rotary guys how many engines they've been thru. I'm talking more than 300rwhp.

You guys DO know that you can just as soon turbocharge a V8 right? Right? :P

With a built bottom end hitting 4 digits on a v8 is really not all that hard, aside from the price of the turbo and fuel pumps you'll need... and the tires... etc. Sheesh.

The REAL problem would be NOT DYING and getting an aerokit on your car so you dont go airborne... and some really high temp brake pads!
